Absolutely astounding performance and at the price in HK (a quarter of the price of iTouch), a complete no-brainer. The only criticisms are the appalling spelling of the English interface (“Shuting down”, “Deleteing file”, “Play form break point” etc etc) and the lack of an English manual. Very simple to operate even without a manual. The killer advantages over the Ipod are that this will play seemingly any video format including HD, drag and drop file management, USB stick or micro SD card input. Included built-in speakers are surprisingly good if you can’t be bothered to use headphones. It was so impressive I bought 1 for me, 3 for my kids and gave my iPod Touch to my wife. Everyone happy!

bought the v8000 in hk. easy to use even without english manual. when playing mkv format the picture freezes from time to time but the audio plays ok. do they have a website that i can upgrade the software? would appreciate it if you could help me on this matter.
