I installed luvcview and now it does not see /dev/video0.

I am new to linux. where do I get a UVC driver for smartQ 5?

Actually I was more interested in the application side! The driver side
seems to be ok. What I am looking for is an application which does
video capture from USB and show it on the screen ( the way vlc does it )?

Does the ubuntu os on smartq5 have the video capture (webcam?) capability?
does it come with any software to do that? can I get it from somewhere else? vlc on the device does not do capture

any info will be appreciated.

Will you install English version of all three OS’s on it? Does the current version have the new Android or still old “engineering” version?

So tell me why does it not have a built in webcam and gps? WTH! For me its inexcusable. Those are two items that would have pushed this device over the edge of curiosity to a true mobile device. I can overlook its very unpolished nature but are you serious?!?
