when i want to copy something to v5 , i found the device can’t connect to pc in android 2.1 , the setting of otg mode is disable , we have to use sd card to transfer files .
smartq v5 is not only a mid , but also a 1080 P video player .
if you want to output video to tv , you need do some settings

if you want to use other pdf reader , you search it on market
you can also install apk file in apk installer
before install apk file , you need enable unknown sources in setting
1. search software apk file and download to sd card
2. insert sd card and install it in es file explorer
3. you can also use “Apk 安装器” , it is a good installer

1. download and copy to sd card , make sure there is enough space
2. run r7pdf.run , after installation , it will show “安装结束”
3. open pdf file
how to exit ?
press menu button , rotate the screen and click exit menu
install E17 Enlightenment on SmartQ MID
before install it , you need delete soft.img from your sd card (you can use another sd card) , and there must be at least 100MB in your internal storge
1. download deb package
2. extract to your sd card
3. copy packages folder to /home/user/
4. enter /etc/apt/ , open sources.list
add these code
deb file:/home/user packages/
5. run terminal (such as evilite)
type
sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install e17
sudo apt-get install xmms2
sudo apt-get install emusic
sudo apt-get install neon
sudo apt-get install vkbd-ng

step by step and always choose “Y”
6. show hidden files in file manager then create .xinitrc on /home/user
7. type
#!/bin/sh
exec enlightenment_start
8. reboot
bugs: wifi , touch screen
we suggest use usb mouse to control it and backup before install it .
