Nokia Pulse Pocket Projector Concept, Controlled via Nokia Cellphone
0The Nokia Pulse Projector concept is a project aimed at enriching the multimedia features of a Nokia phone, by turning the handset into the remote of a pocket projector. Designed by Miika Mahonen, this gadget combines a LED projector with a NXT speaker with support for Dolby surround into a multimedia device.
It’ll also come with Pulse software and Bluetooth connectivity.
Nokia Pulse uses DLP technology and supports a native resolution of 1280×768 pixels and a 1500:1 contrast ratio, for very crisp images. Picture size ranges from 15 inches (diagonal) to 60 inches (at 7.87 feet) and the projector uses LED light technology with 1000 lumens of brightness and 16.7 million colors.
This project is very likely to be made into a real product and I’m sure that in a year’s time at most, we’ll see it announced officially.

FCC unveils the AT&T-bound Nokia 6750 “Mural”
0The FCC veil of confidentiality has been lifted on FCC ID QMNRM-381 and it looks like Nokia has a new flip-tastic handset on the way dubbed 6750 Mural. Associated photos and manual now available to the public show a very shiny clam shell with 850/1900MHz 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, a camera of unknown resolution and a memory card slot. Oh yeah, the draft of the manual refers to MediaNet and Video Share so this one is definitely headed to AT&T. The lack of any discernible menu button suggests that this flip phone will be a Symbian S40 handset and not S60 like its 6650 counterpart, but that’s just speculation for the time being. Hit the jump for one more external photo courtesy of the FCC.

Nokia N97 pre-order falls to $454 in the US!
0Yes, technology tends to fall in price as it ages, but is the still-unreleased N97 prematurely getting on in the years or something? Did we miss that memo? Nokia USA is already blowing out N97 pre-orders for $174.75 off the $699 retail price after having originally gone up for sale just earlier this week — and you still get a free BH-703 headset thrown in for good measure. Considering that this means you’re getting the most full-featured device Nokia has ever made for the same price as a NAM E75, it seems like a no-brainer; hurry up, though, because we suspect this discount is a limited-time sort of deal.

With code CARTP409N,the price falls to a ridiculously low $454,and works on other models
E-71 $264.33
E-63 $172.54
N-96 $419.66
N-82 $257.27
5800 $233.35
